Gonfoterios Experience, Osorno, Chile - 17th August 2011
NEW PROJECT! HDC have just been commissioned to plan and develop a new Gonfoterios Experience in Osorno, Chile. The Gonfoterios (or gomphotheresin English) taxonomic family of extinct elephant-like animals that died out around the time South America was first settled by man 14,000 years ago. The experience will include a visitor centre and museum, a prehistoric woodland trail and a series of themed leisure activities.

Our work will include: Interpretive Exhibit Label Copy for a new exhibition, develop the script for a video interpretation tour, developing a Docent Training Program and Interpretive Tour Guide Book, conduct a "Train the Trainers" program for management staff, and conduct exhibit pre-testing evaluation.

All of the town is a historical site; the architecture that has survived through the years gives Santa Fe de Antioquia the aspect of a city "suspended" in the colonial era, which is the reason the city was declared a National monument.
