HDC Fossil outdoor panels & outdoor signs are the highest specification outdoor panels & outdoor signs on the market. Our exterior panels & outdoor signs are made from a solid composite high pressure laminate (HPL) which is fire retardant, extremely impervious to moisture & resistant to UV rays, scratching, impact & graffiti.
HDC Fossil outdoor signs & outdoor panels are protected with a 10-year UV inhibitor & the graphics printed using 12-color high definition printing technology, unique to HDC Fossil.
Our outdoor signs & outdoor panels are available in thickness from 1/16” to 1”. HDC Fossil outdoor signs & outdoor panels over 1/2” / 25mm are self-supporting and can be fitted with threaded inserts.
HDC Fossil Exterior Panels & Outdoor Signs General Description
HDC Fossil outdoor panels & outdoor signs high pressure laminate (HPL) grades are manufactured with a smooth sub-surface image on one side and a sanded surface on the other side to allow proper bonding to the supporting substrate. Bonding our exterior panels, outdoor panels & outdoor signs to substrate materials should be done according to the proven principles of veneering. Particleboard and MDF are among the many suitable substrates on which an HDC Fossil outdoor panels & outdoor signs can be bonded.
HDC Fossil outdoor panels & outdoor signs of 0.035” or less can be formed to simple bends and profiles.
HDC Fossil outdoor panels & outdoor signs of 0.048" can be used for general purpose applications & suitable for practically all flat (horizontal or vertical) installations.

HDC Fossil outdoor signs & exterior panels are resistant to common household products, solvents, mild alkalis, & diluted mild acids. Some staining agents, especially those with grease bases paint or ink, will require the use of a solvent for removal. These stains can be removed using turpentine, 100% mineral spirits, isopropyl “rubbing alcohol”, Goof Off “Graffiti Remover” or WD-40, lacquer thinner, acetone or MEK.
Static Electricity:
